United welcome Swansea to Old Trafford

Swansea visited United on a packed Sunday midday fixture, Old Trafford once again packet with over 75 thousand fans failing to do what was expect of them regardless of the massive injury list. I at least expect United to grab all 3 points today, didn't expect it to be easy at all but I did expect a win.

I just don't think we showed up to this important game at all, players looked very tired and I think Swansea took advantage of that. It was a very important game that could have put us in the driving seat to finish in the top 4, now we really are going to struggle to snatch that spot so we have to go and win the UEFA Cup at the very least!

Swansea had most of the possession in the first half but both teams created a few chances. Sad to see Shaw yet again going off injured. Mourinho seems to think that it's going to be another long period out.

United had one of their best chances though Lingard who failed to finish. The break through we did find just before the half-time whistle was a bit embarrassing to be honest, but in this modern game these things happen. Rashford seemed to have dived, maybe lost his balance a little and we got a penalty awarded for Rooney to make it 1 - 0.

I admire the pure talent young Rashford has and I think he is going to have one hell of a career but I do hope if he did dive that it was a one off or at least he does not do it as often as Robben used to while he was at Chelsea!

Second-half again was a little bit better for United, we looked like we was in control but I was pretty disappointed that we again failed to kill off our opponents! We have seen this time and time again this season.
I'm not going to go too much into the game, but what the hell happened on that Sigurdsson free kick!? Expected United to organise like this under Moyes but not Mourinho! Our shortest player should not have gone on the wall for starters but to put him on the far left of the wall was not right at all. Herrera, we love you and you have been brilliant this season but what the hell was going through his mind? Credit to Sigurdsoon though, took advantage of Young's height and struck a very sweet free kick too punish us.

We tried to get a winner in the last 10 minutes but our creativity was not up to scratch at all yet again, and we was pretty lucky that Llorente failed to finish his chance in the last few minutes of the game. The ref blows a end to a game and we DRAW!

I'm disappointed in the result but looking ahead I'm very positive that this won't be the case next season once Mourinho brings in 2 or 3 new players in that we desperate need. Could have been 3rd tonight in the league, and I could have been sat here happy as Larry smiling sipping on a nice cold beer...anyways bring on Celta Vigo, Thursday night!

Pretty confident we can get a result, not forgetting the injury list I'd be happy with a away draw but hope we can bring them back to Old Trafford with at least a away goal!
